Everyone is familiar with leadership Strange "Tough Enough" deck. It is probably the all around best deck in the game. Well I decided to do a color swap and build the deck in aggression. I've played it a lot and tweaked it, mostly against expert Mutagen, and this list is very solid and fun to play. It is slightly slower than the blue version because the allies are more expensive, and it is thus more vulnerable in the early game, but after your first trip through your deck this list has a far higher ceiling of power. I personally like this version better.

So, why red? Essentially, Dr. Strange is so good on his own that a lot of what blue offers ends up being overkill. There's only one major lack in Strange's arsenal and it's his attack. He doesn't need thwarting, control, or ready effect. He just needs damage. Red does that just fine. Also, in order to maximize Dr. Strange you should be able to use each of his invocations. With this list, you can. The abundance of allies allows you to use Seven Rings of Raggadorr, same as in the blue version, but in red you have more use for Images of Ikonn, and with that confuse from Ikonn or from Spider-Girl or from Magic Blast, you can use Vapors of Valtorr to stun enemies. All those status effects make Press the Advantage an excellent cantrip card in the deck.

The strategy is rather familiar and straightforward. You draw through you deck as fast as possible and play out you permanents, especially the resource accelerators. Unlike in blue, you won't bring allies back, so just let them die and play new ones. Once Boot Camp is out the allies do amazing damage. Use Hulk for blocking until he only has 1 or 2 hp, as he will probably discard when you attack with him. Sentry with Boot Camp is nuts as is Tigra. Minions are a joke and the villain dies quickly.

It's a lot of fun to play.

This looks really interesting, going to give it a go. The only thing I'd be really sad to lose from leadership is the Sky Cycle trick on Wong to keep Doc around in hero form all game, but some of the recent aggression allies are so much fun.

Something else that might be interesting to add are the new mystic basics from the Scarlet Witch deck that let you draw 2 and discard 1, I've been trying it out in the leadership Strange and it helps you get to the Cloak, Sorcerer Supreme and the Eye of Agamotto even quicker.

I don't think the Wong thing is worth it because you have to first attach Honorary Avenger to then attach sky cycle. It's too complex for not enough payoff. It's better just to use the invocations.

I can't wait for Scarlett Witch, I'm pumped. I haven't seen any of the cards yet. I just know her prebuilt deck is justice.

@DukeWellington Just coming across this list after playing Justice Strange last night and have similar opinions as yours. If you can use the invocations/spells in his kit efficiently doesn't feel like he needs much support in those aspects.

Have you continued working on this list since newer sets? Considering cutting Mockingbird and Team-Building Exercise for 2 copies of Spiritual Meditaion at first glance.
