Eson "Who are you to challenge the sacrifice she has made?"
Nightcrawler "Not to challenge it, but to complete it."
Nightcrawler is there to support his friends and sacrifice when needed. That's the goal of this deck. No teammate should have to defend against a Villain attack. Nightcrawler or his allies will always be there to stand in the way.
Giving Credit to both Web-Warrior Fanatic and Caldias, I've merged what I like from "No Allies No Problem" and "Nein Freund". I play completely in multiplayer, so there are sacrifices and gains that can be had.
Build Support deserves to be there when running X-Jet and playing with friends. Allies are always useful, but I only included Allies that I felt served a purpose if played by themselves and immediately chump block away. Ronin will always be active when it matters because Prof X will just block for your friend, then you bamf for yourself. In Harm's Way is gross overkill in single player, but 9 Damage and 9 Thwart in multiplayer swings a fight.
The priorities in this deck are +Def and resources to play events that either ready yourself, or heal in a way to keep you in Hero form. Bamf attached to the villain is going to be a must. Retaliate is always fun, but will be more of a secondary goal. The plan is to defend for everyone, and let your team run away with the Damage and Thwart.
Eson "How can you be so certain your end will bring forth all this life?"
Nightcrawler "Becauseā¦
I have faith."
