Take on your Labors with the power of Justice!

Herc is already very strong. But getting those gifts makes him a beast. Thus this deck maximizes your ability to clear labors while maintaining the board state and the villain's dastardly schemes.

Protect Humanity - There's no way to speed this one up, however we can make use of cheap allies like Grant Ward if something should happen to Amadeus Cho (Zeus forbid).

Defeat the Hydra - Not going to lie, Justice lacks efficient damage tools. We have Waylay to hit for 7 if the stars align, but the punch icon is just as important to pay the Hydra tax. Limitless Stamina helps us ready and cut down the Hydra in hopefully two turns. Don't forget, if desperate Waylay could still hit for 4 (do not recommend).

Embody Pathos - Easiest to clear. Operative Skill boosts Infiltration to 6 possible threat removal + our basic thwart (Assault on it let's us use our ATK value instead of TWH) presents another 4 threat removed. You can clear this in a turn no problem. But I think the secret is to let the scheme stew for one turn then take it out to reap the most benefits.

I found great success with this deck in multiplayer. Hands down my favorite aspect for Hercules.

Some other miscellaneous talking points:

  • Because Herc can flip to AE after completing a labor, we run Lay Down the Law for cheap thwarting. Overwatch is great too, as we can remove the threat from our labor and from another scheme in play.

  • Avengers Mansion might seem too expensive, but late game once your economy is online, you definitely want this for that extra card.

  • If there's a card I would cut, it's probably Quincarrier. Lockjaw is honestly a great replacement that I never really thought of. Herc's economy once he has 2 gifts is just insane.

  • I also would recommend Yellow Jacket as a replacement, and in fact I probably should have him in this deck to begin with, given all of Herc's upgrades.
