Hercules is much like Ironheart in the way that it isn't are you going to reach full power but when are you. And exactly how strong the champ is directly relates to how fast you can get to full power. So, this deck largely focuses on getting all your gifts on the table as fast as possible. It indirectly techs for Defeat the Hydra and Embody Pathos by having many readies in the deck (11). And very directly techs for Protect Humanity with Taunt and Ready for a Fight. I think the trick to getting Hercules to his maximum potential fully rests in finishing Protect Humanity as fast as humanly or even godly possible. And with this deck it is very possible to turn a 3 turn minimum into a 2 or even 1 turn, vastly improving Hercules' power. While you can't decide which labor card you pull so it will always be a 1 in 3 chance you first pull Protect Humanity, I will only go through that as the first pull since, the other two I believe are fairly straightforward in that you ready Hercules to do the thing as fast as possible. You hard mulligan for a taunt potentially only keeping a Ready for a Fight (especially if you are playing multiplayer). Then you get an extra free card with Amadeus Cho. It is very likely you see a 1 in 3 Taunt because you looking at potentially 13 of 41 cards and you also have some easy card draw to potentially make that number larger with Face the Past and Nick Fury. Assuming you hit a taunt you would love to see Ready for a Fight and you simply ask another player to stay in Alter-Ego (not usually that hard of a request) staying down a turn 1 can be really strong for any hero wanting to setup. And then after the villain attacks you, you ready for a fight the villains scheme against your friend and that is 3 attacks to protect humanity and claim your first gift turn 1. Which counting Amadeus Cho will net you in a 9 card hand size and starting ready and in alter-ego to get a second labor out and completed by turn 2. With this setup it, greatly increases your odds of finishing your labors fast and getting to see the full power of Hunkules! (Disclaimer haven't actually recieved Hercules yet so this deck is theroetical at the moment but I am very excited to try it out) Let me know if anyone decides to give this deck a try!
