Spider-Woman and the X Effects

Two of my favourite cards are the x-gene specific cards Mutant Mayhem and Gunboat Diplomacy - and there's currently only a few ways to get them both in the same deck (Leadership Gamora and Adam Warlock also can). Jess is probably the better fit of the 3.

Ideally; you're going to get Children of the Atom in play ASAP; to better enable the X-cards. As far as your allies go; they're all 2 thwart; so gunboat is going to be doing 4 thwart and 4 damage. It's not peak; but it's still viable. Mutant Mayhem though has some great targets:

Hope Summers is cute as she'll pull one of Jess's events; Wolfsbane also works really well with Jess's AE ability on her own deck. Beast pulling extra resources; Cyclops is just a winning card if he gets more than 1 play/ turn. Utopia is always a good support in X-ally decks and just made the cut for me (over a second copy of CotA). We'll just pretend the Quinjet is an X-Jet.
