Venom has friends everywhere.
The Triskelion and Knowhere allow him to boost his maximum ally count to 5.
We aim for 2 unique traits per ally, plus the 2 traits on Venom. This is a maximum of 12 damage/thwart from Strength in Diversity.
We can use Leadership Training to shuffle Strength in Diversity back into our deck as well, allowing more uses per deck cycle.
Venom is a good hero for this deck because:
- He is a Guardian, which allows him to use Knowhere
- He has additional traits beyond Guardian, which scale with Strength in Diversity
- He can help get off the ground quickly with Symbiotic Bond
Great deck! Very efficient. I feel like "Welcome Aboard" should have a place in a guardian leadership deck... But I'm not sure here. It would potentially help you get set up faster (it acts as a double for an ally), but becomes a dead card in the deck if/when you're not playing allies anymore.
