Spider-Man India: What did you just say? Chai tea? Chai means "tea", bro! You are saying "tea tea"! Would I ask you for a "coffee coffee" with room for "cream cream"?

Player Type: Johnny/Spike
Main Player Count: 2, 3
Can do: all counts
Key Cards: Quick Quip, Float Like a Butterfly

Confuse-a-thon

There are so many good things about Miles. He's a Champion and a Web-Warrior. He has more access to statuses than a Mystic, and with two Web-Shooters, he can pay for some crazy powerful cards. Also, tell the aggression player to bring Press the Advantage!

Justice, Like Mental

Plenty of to make sure you can handle the requirement for Quick Quip and hit the kicker on Swing In. This means confuses are everywhere. Scare Tactic is a great damage dealer, and Float Like a Butterfly will constantly in use. Even Magneto's Steady can't stand the onslaught of confuses.

Team Thwart

In 2-3 player game, you can consistently pay for Team Investigation, which will knock out most side schemes (player or encounter). However, this card is the one that is very dependent on what your player count, heroes at the table, and scenario needs.

At 4p, it's a great card, but you'll want to ask the table for help paying for it. At 1p, sub it out for For Justice!. At 2p+, you can remove one copy of Team Investigation and your Web-Warrior Spider-Man for Spider-Man.

In going through Agents of SHIELD and Magneto, it was super helpful, but you may have different needs. In a world of player side schemes, it's super nice to just ask each person at the table to spend two resources to get the immediate boost.

Infiltration

This is a great card for pinpointing a specific amount of threat. Don't waste threat and end up with 1-off threats. Use this to make sure if you have a 2 THW but there's 3 threat on the side scheme that you aren't wasting the activation.

I love the shout out for Press the Advantage. Such a great card!

This is a really neat deck. I love the idea of Team Investigation to just nuke a side scheme. I’m excited to try this out!

I saw this deck in action and can confidently say it’s BEYOND OMEGA LEVEL for sure!

I do love the recommended changes for people. Great writeup that is really functional.

Love it! I really appreciate the thought you put into the sideboard based on player count and environment.

Two copies of float like a butterfly works so well in a multiplayer game! I’m just imaging a “press the advantage” with “float like the butterfly”. So good!

I love that even Spider-Man is confused in this deck. "Chai Tea? Chai means Tea!!" lowl. Im also a big fan of Leo Fitz for Miles and Peter to get the web shooters back asap after a deck reshuffle. Fun deck

@Astrodar Thanks so much. Yeah, it was cool to watch Team Investigation just end a player side-scheme

@boomguy it's power level is OVER 9000!!!! Also, it was super fun to get to play this alongside your Leader Peter

@KingOfRohan that's awesome!! i love that. we should get a game in with both of them!

@Castlefrank47 Thanks! I appreciate it!

@SDx Thanks. Two copies of float is definitely fun to have. And I hope the sideboard is helpful. I'll be curious if the "pairing decks" piece is also helpful or not.

@Pedroq that's probably one of my favorite things about that scene! Oh that's really cool about Leo. My next time to play, I'll totally add them and see.

@Str0ngstyle Totally! I was curious if someone was gonna say something :D

@tommycross YES!!! :D that's such a great line to add to this deck!

Really really glad you put in the sideboard section, because this deck wasn't working for me at all with 3x Scare Tactic. I think Concussive Blow works way better, both standalone as a card, and also because it provides PHYSICAL resources, which the deck desperately needs more of to play Spider-Man and get the most out of Double Life. Love the idea though, and I've had a fun time trying out different iterations!

@dr00 I was watching the movie while testing and doing the write up, it was all I could think about :D

@xshredder I’m super happy to hear that the sideboard was helpful (it’s good encouragement to keep doing them). It’s cool to see how different playstyles have different needs/desires in cards. I don’t think I ever had trouble with resource requirements or ability kickers as-is. This deck got played a lot across various player counts (1p, 2p, and 4p), but I’m so glad Concussive Blow worked better for you than Scare Tactics. Also, thanks for sharing that for others who might have the same style and need!
