Spider-Ham is so strong, that he can easily just dominate games in multiplayer. Instead of that, why not use his powers for good? Taking advantage of his huge resource economy, you can support your friends and make them the stars of the show. This deck is for multiplayer only, and the more the marrier as it just gets more powerful at higher player counts!
Piggy Power
Between our toon counters, extra card draw, and Organizational Support, we are swimming in resources. This makes playing The Circe quite trivial. Since we are loaded, we won't be using it to play our own allies. Instead, this will let any other player get an ally out for free, on the house! There is a lot of card draw here too, so you can use up those deploy counters, and replay The Circe again relatively quickly after you reshuffle.
The rest of the deck is also designed to support your team. The 3 copies of Clarity of Purpose not only let you consistently play it right away to build up toon counters, you can then hand out the other copies to any friends who want one. Mission Leader, Maria Hill, Web of Life and Destiny, Nick Fury, Petulant Pig and Avengers Mansion all draw cards. Some let everyone draw cards, and some let you choose. Pick the player who needs it the most (usually not you!).
Everything else just further adds to the multiplayer support. Regroup is fantastic at higher player counts, where it can result in multiple allies bouncing back to hand. These allies can then be played back with The Circe! Cell Phone helps a lot in the sequencing of activations, and Make the Call and Command Team have more targets to choose from.
Some of this can be tweaked, adjusted based on your preference or playgroup.
Two allies that you could consider adding are Cyclops and Slingshot. Cyclops is just really good team support in general. Slingshot I find pretty interesting as it's easy to pay for the with Ham's hero ability, and it's just an easy extra atk or thw each turn.
As suggested to me by Boomguy, some of the alliance cards, specifically Joining Forces and Cosmic Alliance would be great if you are playing with Avenger and Guardian friends!
All of those suggestions are completely optional, so modify this base set up as you see fit.
This may not be the most powerful Spider-Ham deck out there, but that's not the point. Stick your tongue out at the villain, give all of your friends a high five, and be the best pal a pig can be.
I love this idea! Maybe throw in Combine Forces to pass out more allies to your friends? You’re making me want to try Ham again…
