A Justice version of my The God-King of Cost-Efficiency that is more tailored towards lower player numbers. For the full write-up on why maximising the number of resource cards is the best way to play Bishop, look there.

This deck tanks 1 less villain attack per turn (due to not having Nightcrawler) and instead has Husk to function as an infinite resource dump. As a tiny side benefit, Determination and Passion for Justice are a bit more useful to this deck than their Protection counterparts.

Just played this against Expert Magnetto. Had a little bit of a rough time because Superpower Training and Uniform where at the bottom of the deck! Still pulled out the win. Can't wait to pilot it some more.

@mv2392 I'm glad you enjoyed it! :) Yeah, if it takes a while to find your suit it can be a rough start, especially solo.

Love this deck a lot, it can even win against Magneto / Ronan / Venom Goblin, with Infinity Gauntlet :) It also works against heroic games!

It's just so strong. I personally added Chance Encounter to guarantee finding Husk because the resource sink is really crucial. I also added Grant Ward because paying later synergizes so well with Bishop!

Thanks again for this deck! As a solo player, I liked this way more than the protection version. Looking forward to more decks from you :)

@pineapplefringe I'm so glad you liked it! Yeah, for a solo player this is way better than the protection version. Thanks for taking the time to type up a review, it's so great to get to see people enjoying my work <3

I've played a few games with this deck, and wow, Bishop is powerful! He survives through hard Villain hits, consistently deals big chunks of damage, and Randall can remove a significant amount of threat.

I was surprised to see that most other Bishop decks on this website don't look like your deck. Instead of leaning into Bishop's hero ability, folks build traditional decks with aspect cards (i.e. allies, upgrades, events, supports ) and only 8-10 resource cards. Each card that isn't a resource or a Temporal card is a card that will stay in the discard, so why bother? ;)

You inspired me to build my own Bishop deck using your shell. Instead of Husk, I lean into boosting Randall and Malcolm, whom can be recurred whenever they are defeated. marvelcdb.com

Thank you for sharing your innovative deck!

Thanks for the comment, @CaptnSpandex! Yeah, it feels like such a waste not to make use of his ability to the fullest. That's how I like to build my decks: "How can I build around their unique schtick?" rather than "which generic deck archetype shall I slap this hero onto?". I made a Protection version first, if you wanna check that out :) Can tank almost every hit for a 4-man team! Your blue version looks interesting too, I'll give it a spin! :)
