In cartoon O.I.N.K., allies can do amazing things...
They come to your aid, attack a stupid number of times, and then Go Down Swinging due to exhaustion...
There are a lot of combos in this deck:
Here is just one so you can start seeing the toony silliness of this deck...
Prerequisite: Spider-Man (Peter Parker) + Agent 13 + Command Team all on the table and have Mission Planning in hand. Call for Backup must have been played, maybe to get one of these two allies out.
Shouldn't be too hard, right? That is only 4 cards to make this combo happen 3 of which are already on the table waiting for you...
In order (this can be done in ONE TURN once this set up is play):
- Play Mission Planning from hand.
- Attack the Villain with Spider Ham.
- Attack the Villain with Spider-Man (Peter Parker) and then Ready Spider-Ham.
- Attack the Villain with Spider Ham.
- Use Command Team to ready Spider-Man.
- Attack the Villain with Spider-Man and then ready Spider-Ham.
- Attack the Villain with Spider-Ham.
- Thwart with Agent 13 and then use Agent 13 to ready Command Team.
- Use Command Team to ready Spider-Man.
- Attack the Villain with Spider-Man and then ready Spider-Ham.
- Attack the Villain with Spider-Ham.
Do you have a Get Ready in hand or a second Command Team out? Then let's TOON it UP a notch!
- Use Get Ready from hand or use a second Command Team on Agent 13.
- Thwart with Agent 13 and then ready Command Team.
- Use Command Team to ready Spider-Man.
- Attack the Villain with Spider-Man and then ready Spider-Ham.
- Attack the Villain with Spider-Ham...
Is the Villain defeated yet? No? Do you have Go Down Swinging? Use it on Agent 13 to do 4 more damage to the Villain.

If you happened to have Huge Wooden Hammer out this whole time and a bunch of toon counters, well... How much damage did we do here?
You can do this without Mission Planning. Spider-Man is just going to head to the discard pile out of exhaustion... Oooh... Do you have RAPID RESPONSE?

How about playing Nick Fury, drawing 3 cards, attacking, then playing Go Down Swinging? 6 Damage + 3 cards is pretty good?

Jul 09, 2024For this deck, you could possibly tweak in more Web-Warriors and Across the Spider-Verse by removing Mockingbird, Mission Planning and maybe Maria Hill. And do more of an ally recycle. They are basically cannon fodder. This deck can be quite insane on the damage side, and is effective against most Expert Villains I’ve tested against. (Klaw, Crossbones, Mutagen Formula, Sandman). Leadership is just so flexible… |

somehow i never made the connection to combine web-warriors with Go Down Swinging and such. with Across the Spider-Verse, you can get them back out super cheap as well. such a fun concept! love spider-ham (especially in leadership cos clarity is absolutely broken). gonna definitely have to try this.
