Doctor Strange - Avengers' Rapid Response

Rapid Response is the egg for this cake recipe. It will keep Hawkeye and Wong safe while they pre-damage incoming minions and improve your odds at getting the invocation really you want. It will also do amazing with Mockingbird to re-stun the villain, Maria Hill to make every player draw again, Falcon and Squirrel Girl to remove tough statuses if there are a couple in play.

Get Ready and Wong is a great combo. It gives you an extra chance to get the invocation you want.

Once you get the ball rolling, the enemy will mostly be in a stun/confuse lock all game. Then, fetch Protective Ward with Sanctum Sanctorum every two turns or so and block the villain's big cards.

On the turns you don't need you use your allies (or if you're preserving their tough statuses, Strength In Numbers will change a round quite a bit!
