This is a learning deck for multiplayer, designed to combine with a straightforward Wolverine Aggression deck. The aim of both decks is to keep turns relatively short and to reinforce some basic concepts, with the Wolverine deck focusing on order of operations, basic interactions, and doing damage while the Psylocke deck focuses more on flipping, Confuse, thwarting, and supporting.
Two copies of Float Like a Butterfly are present so that they can be handed out to both players. There are loads of solid skill cards in the deck, so if you can manage to get Training Regimen on the board, you're pretty spoiled for choices between Psylocke's hero upgrades as well as Upside the Head, Float Like a Butterfly, Heroic Intuition, and Skilled Investigator.
Cerebro and Professor X are present to allow for basic cycling there if no better options are present. Since we're in multiplayer, Charles can still provide full value if you flip down since he can always block for the other player.
Overall, I'm really enjoying Psylocke as a support character due to the flexibility of her Psi-Energy cards.
This psylocke-wolverine pair up this cool af. I love having co-op pair decks. Especially ones meant to teach the game. I have several friends that don't play often so building co-op starter decks is so fun.
