This deck revolves around the play pattern of flipping down as often as possible to get consistent tough status on your hero. The deck intends to abuse the alter-ego ability of shuffling a Colossus card into your deck from your discard pile as close to every other turn as possible. Your target for the ability is always Armor Up so that you never actually have the villain scheme against you. With Iron Will and Moira MacTaggert, you can start each turn in hero form with potentially 7 cards! When in doubt, chump with allies to get more value from your tough staying on through the various tough payoff cards in his kit.

The other way to get Armor Up back in your deck is with Mutant Education. Because of this, we run X-Mansion and a small Forge package to compliment. Since we're running Forge and we already plan to flip to alter-ego so much, we also run Danger Room and one copy of Attack Training. Use it early as a resource and later when you're finding it with Danger Room, it's a bonus to pull from your deck to thin it. This will make you more likely to find Armor up too!

Besides that, we run a fair number of allies because of Danger Room and Surprise Attack since we flip so often! Deft Focus and Limitless Stamina are criminal not to run with Colossus, so both make an appearance as well.

Mulligan should look pretty aggressively for card draw at first, so prioritize Iron Will and Moira. Doubles are always a good keep as well because of the plethora of two cost cards in the kit. Happy Flipping!
