The basic premise here is only take damage when you want to. Between Strange's built in condition control and Wong's ability to cycle the Invocation deck, Dr. Strange loves to stay in hero form. This pairs perfectly with the Protection aspect, which removes entirely the need to ever flip down to recover.
One of the weaknesses early testing has uncovered is Strange's ability to deal with minions effectively. Momentum Shift is the key card here, since it provides healing and cheap damage. Energy Barrier is also important, especially in Ultron, allowing Strange to redirect damage where he needs it, and keep the board clear.
Other than letting a few points of damage creep in here and there to fuel Momentum Shift, Strange should remain largely untouched.
