Some would say not to Defend with the good Doctor so you can activate him on your turn for Invocations.
I ask, why not both?
With cards like Desperate Defense and Indomitable, you can stay afloat till you find your Cloak of Levitation. Winds of Watoomb certainly helps cycle through the deck, and paired with a well-timed Master of the Mystic Arts (or 2) can see you drawing 6 or even 9 cards in a turn. Another helper in search of your Cloak comes in Mystical Studies.
The point is, we all know Doctor Strange is a powerhouse, he’s even the definition of Unflappable. In a world where you CAN be great, be Strange.
(This deck is by no means perfect; in fact, I have only Core, Cap, and Strange at this time. It’s a work-in-progress and I can’t wait to see how it works in the long term.)
