Protection Event Spider-Man

This is my solo Spiderman build I was playing the other night. I was able to take down Expert Rhino (bomb scare), Expert Klaw (masters of evil), and Expert Mutagen Formula (scorpion). I'm working with a limited collection since I just got into the game two weeks ago, and I was super happy with how this performed.

The basic concepts are The Power in All of Us helps get out your supports + allies reliably, and the low cost protection events help you stay in hero mode as long as you possibly can. If you can hold off switching back to Peter Parker until you've got Aunt May in play, you're good as gold. The allies are focused on threat, minion, and Tough status card management, and the newly released Bait and Switch really helps make sure that you are staying ahead of the main scheme or dealing with an unfortunate boost. Alongside the 3 Side Step and 3 Preemptive Strike, it essentially lets you turn your 3-4 Defense value into a 4 Thwart (plus a little kicker damage) which is something Spider-Man can struggle with if you aren't getting many minions out. Plus since it counts as an attack initiated against you, you also get to replace the cost.

The big struggle with this deck is ensuring that you get to play your Swinging Web Kick when they show up. If you aren't able to get those played, the game can start to drag on too long and threat will start to get difficult to control. I think until I have a full collection I won't be touching Heroic mode, since my wins on Expert feel pretty tight so far. Overall I'm really happy with this deck and I'm looking forward to digging deeper into this awesome game.
