This Rogue deck is all about supporting the table while getting as much mileage as possible out of Superpower Adaptation. Rogue already has a lot of flexibility through her ability to borrow other heroes' events, and this deck takes that idea and runs with it. The goal is to keep your teammates supplied with cards, resources, allies, and stat boosts while repeatedly using their events to help solve whatever problems the table is facing.

Superpower Adaptation, again and again

The key combo here is Cameo and Ms. Marvel from the Nova pack. Cameo lets you bring Ms. Marvel into play, and she's the key to getting more mileage out of Superpower Adaptation. With Ms. Marvel available, you can keep recovering Superpower Adaptation and playing it multiple times in a turn, or hold it in hand so you have reliable access to it each round.

This is what makes the deck tick. Superpower Adaptation lets Rogue take advantage of the powerful events your teammates have brought along, meaning the value you get from it depends on what the rest of the table is playing. Rather than being limited to Rogue's own kit, you can borrow the tools needed for the situation and help fill whatever role the team needs.

Weapon X helps you find Superpower Adaptation more consistently, while First Aid keeps Ms. Marvel in play longer so you can continue taking advantage of her ability. Make the Call is another important piece, letting you bring allies from your own or your teammates' discard piles back into play more reliably.

Supporting the whole table

This isn't a deck that wants to keep all its resources to itself. A big part of the fun is helping everyone else do their thing more effectively.

Mission Leader provides additional card draw for the table, while Moira MacTaggert rewards you and your teammates with cards when you flip to hero form. Avengers Mansion and Maria Hill provide even more card draw, helping everyone get to the cards they need. The X-Jet gives you another resource boost, and Helicarrier can help reduce the cost of your teammates' plays.

Resource Reserve lets you share big resource cards around the table, while The Circe helps your teammates save their own resources by paying for their allies. The idea is to make sure your teammates have the resources and cards they need to execute their plans, rather than simply building Rogue into a powerhouse on her own.

Turning your teammates into powerhouses

The standout support cards here are the three copies of R&D Facility. These let you boost other players' stats, which is particularly effective with heroes who have lots of ways to ready and use their basic powers multiple times in a round. You can even stack the effects from multiple R&D Facilities on the same hero to turn an already powerful teammate into an absolute monster.

The player side schemes help get this support package online. Build Support helps everyone find the supports they need, Call for Backup brings allies into play, and New Recruits gives everyone access to cheap allies. New Recruits is especially useful for X-Men players, who can make great use of the extra help.

Med Lab gives you another way to recycle allies from the discard pile, and Professor X and Gambit provide additional support. Between the allies, resource-sharing cards, and stat boosts, Rogue can help the whole table get established and keep their engines running.

The rest of Rogue's kit

Rogue still has her own events to fall back on. Goin' Rogue, Southern Cross, Energy Transfer, and Bulletproof Belle give her options for dealing with threats and contributing to the fight when the table doesn't need her support elsewhere.

Touched and Rogue's Jacket round out her personal upgrades, while the basic resources help pay for her own cards and the support package. You don't need to be the star of the show when you can help everyone else shine.

How it plays

This deck is at its best when you know what your teammates are trying to accomplish. You want to establish Cameo and Ms. Marvel so Superpower Adaptation becomes a reliable tool, then use Rogue's flexibility to borrow the events that will make the biggest difference. At the same time, you're feeding the table cards, resources, allies, and stat boosts.

The main strength is how adaptable the deck can be. Your best Superpower Adaptation targets will depend on the other heroes at the table, and R&D Facility can be especially powerful when paired with heroes who can ready repeatedly. The more your teammates can take advantage of the resources and boosts you provide, the more valuable your support becomes.

Rogue's job isn't necessarily to do everything herself. It's to make sure that whatever the rest of the team can do, they can do better.
