Every side scheme is a case. Every clue brings her closer to the truth. And Jessica Jones doesn't stop until the investigation is finished.

The Investigation Comes First

This deck is built around Jessica Jones's unique Alias Investigations, turning the defeat of side schemes into something far more valuable than ordinary threat removal.

Every completed investigation adds another evidence counter. Gather enough evidence, and Jessica can defeat the villain's current stage outright, without dealing damage.

That's the heart of the strategy: investigate, collect evidence, and finish the case.

Follow the Evidence

Five Player Side Schemes provide a steady supply of investigations, each offering its own tactical rewards.

Strategy Session ×3 helps find the right case at the right moment, while Lay Down the Law ×3 and Snooping Around ×3 provide efficient ways to remove threat.

Jessica's form-changing abilities make Lay Down the Law especially useful, allowing her to keep investigations moving while taking advantage of her Alter-Ego capabilities.

Calling in Favors and her seven allies provide additional flexibility, helping Jessica handle whatever the investigation throws at her.

Every Closed Case Hits Hard

Turn the Tide ×3 is an important part of the offensive strategy.

After Jessica personally thwarts away the last threat from a scheme, she can turn that success into 3 damage against an enemy.

No additional threat. No unnecessary complications.

The villain takes damage while Jessica continues doing exactly what her deck wants to do: solve cases.

With the three standard double-resource cards supporting her economy, she can concentrate her resources on progressing the investigation rather than constantly recovering from setbacks.

Face the Past

Some investigations are personal.

Face the Past lets Jessica confront her nemesis, Purple Man, while readying her and drawing three cards.

The restriction is significant: Jessica cannot attack the villain for the rest of the phase.

But she doesn't necessarily need to.

Alias Investigations doesn't attack or deal damage. It defeats the villain's current stage directly.

And that's where Run Them to Ground creates a particularly interesting opportunity.

Defeating this Player Side Scheme skips the next villain phase and immediately deals each player a facedown encounter card. It also prevents the villain from taking damage until the next unskipped villain phase begins.

That's a serious restriction for most heroes.

For Jessica, however, there's another way to finish the job.

With enough evidence already collected, Alias Investigations can defeat the villain's current stage even while damage is prevented.

The trick is knowing when the investigation is complete and when it's time to close the case.

The Truth Always Comes Out

Jessica Jones isn't trying to win a conventional damage race.

She controls the battlefield through investigations, uses completed schemes to create offensive opportunities, and builds toward a victory that can bypass even the villain's protection against damage.

Her allies help uncover the truth. Her events keep the pressure on. Her evidence provides the final answer.

And when Purple Man returns to haunt her past, Jessica has the tools to confront him on her own terms.

Find the case. Follow the evidence. Confront the past. Close the investigation.

You can hide from Jessica Jones. You can fight her. You can even make yourself immune to damage.

But you can't argue with the evidence.

Case closed.
