Nick Fury's utility can help in any situation. Squirrel Girl is a nice low cost Ally where her squirrel counters can help remove threat.

Lay Down the Law - J.J. can go Hero-> Alter Ego-> Hero during the player phase which makes this card very handy to remove threat Making an Entrance - With a base defense of 1 and without her jacket, J.J. is going to take hits especially from Bullseye and Electro. This card can help her heal. Unbreakable Bond - more healing is never a bad thing Waylay - Paired with the ability to clear off so much threat, this card can help deal damage where necessary.

Generation X - can help bring something like Breakthrough into your hand Lay the Trap - bring much needed damage while playing Justice Second Chance - not a bad player side scheme - mainly here to defeat it and place counters on Alias Investigations Superpower Training - J.J. has some interesting upgrades.
