This deck takes advantage of Echo’s Katana and Honed Technique caring about printed cost and Echos damage reduction to get crazy value. American Sign Language’s wild resource can met the tech requirement for Honed Technique. While this helps every card, it’s best with Full-Body Charge to get a massive 12 damage hit + 4 damage piercing hit. Photographic Reflexes can then be used to play full-body charge again for just three cards to deal another 16. In normal Fear No Evil (2 player) this has let Echo obliterate an entire phase of the villains in one turn. (I think we got 38 damage in a turn with her once). Drop Kick is easier to get off when replayed with PR you only need to spend 1 fist, which you can also use ASL for, to get the stun and draw. This gives her a bit of utility. With Photographic Reflexes you’re going down two card to damage, stun and draw. Into the Fray and Hit and Run give her a bit of threat removal, with Into the Fray benefiting from the increased damage from Honed Technique and Hit and Run as a thwart/attack triggering improvisation for a extra health and damage, making it a potential 6 damage, 3 katana damage, 2 threat removal, and 1 health. A single copy of Melee is here so you can fetch it (with your alter ego ability) if you need to clear out a bunch of minions. With Honed Technique making it two hits of 6, Katana offering another 3, and photographic reflexes letting you replay it, you should be able to clear the board with just one copy.

**Set Up

Echo’s big limiter here is the time it takes to set things up, which Face the Past helps with. I always grab it when I flip to hero turn one so I can start with nine cards, having played one and removing it from the game, you'll see 10 cards, 1/4 of the deck, turn 1. Use your basic attack to punch him in the face a few times and use Into the Fray on him to clean up the threat he brings. Kingpin on his own isnt a big enough problem to not be worth the draw and quicker setup. This gives you a good chance to get either Echo’s Katana or Honed-Technique. Superpower Training can help get Katana or ASL out. You’ll want to prioritize getting out Katana, HT, and ASL so you can start swinging 16 value full body charges, but all her upgrades are very useful. Using Muscle Memory with Study the Tape lets you fetch a card from your discard pile every turn, and Choreography** gives you an extra card if you’re in alter-ego while helping you get the events you want. Starting in Alter-Ego with both lets you get nine cards (Six starting, 1 from switching to hero, 1 from Muscle Memory, and 1 from Choreography) making it easy to pay for you’re cards and insuring you have whatever event you want.

Face the Past on turn 1 is a great call out and something I hadn't thought of! Very cool.

Honed Technique + Full-Body Charge + Katana is such a monster. I've had a lot of fun with it too.
