"I'm not seeking penance for what I've done, Father. I'm asking forgiveness… for what I'm about to do."

———

The day has arrived and Daredevil is in Marvel Champions!

I wanted to build a deck that used 3x "You'll Pay for That!", 3x Surprise Attack, and a copy of Downtime — all cards that feature Daredevil in the art.

Additionally, I wanted to try out No Quarter and Honed Technique, because you can practically always spend the cards you draw from No Quarter to play cards from his Sense deck.

Aggressive Conditioning and Endurance expand Matt's hit points, and Downtime and Sister Maggie buff his REC, so he can recover if he takes big hits (which he'll want to do sometimes to use "You'll Pay for That!").

The allies are thematic: I included She-Hulk because she's teamed up with Matt in the past, and Spider-Girl because Anya Corazon's father is an investigative reporter for the Daily Bugle.

I really like how the Sense deck makes it relatively easy to run situational cards (like Surprise Attack, "You'll Pay for That!", etc.) or extra copies of important cards (like Aggressive Conditioning, Honed Technique, and Martial Prowess), since it's likely you can spend them profitably to play cards from the Sense deck.

I'm curious to see if Elektra's pack eventually adds anything to flesh this out, but I have had a ton of fun playing this so far and I hope you do, too!

Love me some No Quarter! I'm in a rut with it because, especially with Honed Technique, I feel like I need to then add all 3 copies of Follow Through. So now that's a 7-card set from the jump. This looks very interesting and flexible.

I went with the Aggression upgrades in my deck, but in solo it's too much: marvelcdb.com

@eroush Thanks, let me know how it goes if you try this! I like how many directions you can go with him in Aggression, a lot of meaningful nuance in how you build him. I'm not sold on Surprise Move for him, because 3 of his 4 senses that can attach to enemies have anti-synergy: if you're defeating the minion and getting the kicker from Surprise Move, then you're doubling up (losing out) on a ready with Acute Tactility, losing out on any damage from Radar Sense, and of course losing out on damage prevention from Heightened Hearing. So it only really combos with Enhanced Olfaction.

@KingOfRohan yeah, Surprise Move works with the Aggression upgrades better than the Sense deck.

Right, mmhmm. I do like Marked for him, though! I think it'd be a good sideboard inclusion for this deck in multiplayer, where you'd expect to see more minions.

@KingOfRohan very much so, my deck is multiplayer leaning. I’ve played this game solo for 6 years and only recently found a local game store with MC group, so I’m stumbling with the nuances sometimes.
