Deck Overview: "Magik The Scry-Master"This is a high-octane control and damage powerhouse that completely distorts the villain's game plan. By utilizing Magik's unique ability to look at and play the top card of her deck with a 1-resource discount, this deck generates insane card economy. The key here is mathematical precision: you will lock down the villain with stuns, ready Magik multiple times per turn using Utopia, and convert raw aggression into massive threat removal.I have run this at true solo as well as 2p, 3p, and 4p games. It consistently dominates on Expert difficulty, keeping the main scheme completely clear while melting the villain's health bars.Player Type: Spike (Competitive / Combo-Heavy)Player Count: 1 - 4pKey Cards: Limbo, Utopia, Drop Kick, Into the FrayComplexity: ★★★★☆Damage: ★★★★★Threat Control: ★★★★☆Survivability: ★★★★☆Economy / Resources: ★★★★★Card Drawing: ★★★★☆ Deck DescriptionMulligan PrioritiesHard-mulligan for your core setup pieces. Throw away anything that doesn’t build your economy or top-deck control on turn one. Your absolute top priorities are Limbo, Magik's Crown, Quincarrier, and Utopia. Once Limbo and Utopia are on the field, your engine is fully online and ready to roll. The X-Men Action Loop (Early to Mid Game)This deck plays like a beautiful combo puzzle. Use Spiritual Meditation early to thin out your deck. When in Hero form, use Limbo to swap any unneeded hand card with a powerful X-Men ally like Synch, Legion, or Colossus on top of your deck, playing them with Magik's resource discount. The moment a member of your X-Men fleet hits the board, Utopia triggers, immediately readying Magik up for a secondary basic activation to attack or thwart again. The Complete Lock & CleansingKeep the villain completely suppressed using Drop Kick. Thanks to Quincarrier, your identity upgrades, and Magik's discount, you can easily pay for this event using purely physical ((\mathbfit{\aleph })) resources. This keeps the villain perpetually Stunned while constantly replacing the card in your hand. If a pesky minion gets in your way, blast them with Into the Fray (Ins Getümmel stürzen). It deals 6 heavy damage, and any overkill points are instantly used to wipe massive amounts of threat off the main scheme.Top-Deck Cleaning (The Finisher)If your top-deck ever gets clogged with a card you can't use this turn, utilize Legion or Goldballs to discard it away and reveal a fresh, devastating attack event. Once your Soulsword and Combat Training are equipped, finish the fight with an explosive Soul Strike or a regular basic attack sequence fueled by your Utopia ready-triggers.
The Limbo is mine to command. Watch as your carefully laid plans shatter before the mystic vanguard."
