Normally, Hercules is meant to fight but he'll do his best to protect you too.
If you can constantly ready, that means you can lay on the damage. Use your protection events to defend, especially if Amadeus Cho's fragile ass is out there.
As soon as possible set up your upgrades, Symbiote Suit is a god send. Don't mind the down sides at all.
