This deck was built around one simple idea:

Gambit doesn't solve problems by fighting harder. He solves them by planning the perfect heist.

Instead of remaining in Hero form every turn, this deck embraces Gambit's incredible Alter-Ego toolkit to dismantle side schemes before the villain ever gets the chance to dictate the battle.

Design Philosophy

Justice isn't just about removing threat.

It's about controlling the pace of the game.

Gambit's Alter-Ego ability, Thief Extraordinaire, allows him to quietly manipulate the encounter deck while removing threat before ever revealing his hand. Combined with Breaking and Entering, Gambit can accomplish an incredible amount of work while remaining safely in Alter-Ego.

He doesn't wait for problems.

He steals them before they happen.

The Perfect Heist

The deck revolves around defeating side schemes as efficiently as possible.

Breaking and Entering provides reliable threat removal from Alter-Ego, while Thief Extraordinaire and The Thieves Guild work together to chip away at schemes and reward careful planning by drawing a card.

Once a side scheme falls, Followed turns that successful "heist" into direct damage that bypasses traditional attacks, allowing Gambit to eliminate enemies without ever throwing a punch.

Every completed side scheme feels like another perfectly executed job.

Hit Fast, Disappear Faster

Unlike many Justice heroes, Gambit has no reason to stay in Hero form longer than necessary.

Switch to Hero when it's time to strike, play your Justice events, unleash Royal Flush or Charged Card, then slip back into Alter-Ego to prepare the next operation.

Every turn should feel like planning, executing, and escaping another successful robbery.

Playstyle

Spend far more time in Alter-Ego than most heroes. Use Thief Extraordinaire every opportunity you get. Defeat side schemes efficiently to trigger Followed. Control the encounter deck while controlling the board. Strike only when the time is right, then disappear before the villain can react.

This deck was designed primarily for multiplayer and campaign play, where Gambit quietly controls objectives while the rest of the team keeps the villain occupied.

If you're looking for a Justice deck that stays in Hero form all game, this isn't it.

If you're looking for Gambit pulling off the perfect heist while everyone else is distracted, this deck was built for you.
