This deck is built around one simple idea:

Cyclops should feel like Cyclops.

Rather than turning Leadership into a generic ally swarm deck, this list focuses on Scott Summers as a battlefield commander. Every card was chosen to reinforce his tactical identity and to make his own kit shine.

The ally lineup represents the Gold Team from the Jim Lee era:

Wolverine Beast Phoenix Gambit Rogue Psylocke

Instead of filling the deck with the strongest Leadership staples, I wanted Scott to lead his team.

Tactical Engine

The real engine of the deck revolves around Constant Training.

A high density of Tactic upgrades gives Cyclops access to the right tool for the situation while keeping his signature events online throughout the game. Cards like Priority Target, Practiced Defense, Exploit Weakness, and Field Commander aren't included simply because they're useful—they fuel Scott's tactical toolbox.

Leadership with Purpose

This is not a traditional Leadership ally swarm deck.

The allies are here to support Cyclops, not replace him.

Cyclops remains the centerpiece of the deck while the team executes his battle plan.

Playstyle

Build your support engine early. Establish your Tactic upgrades. Recruit the Gold Team. Control the battlefield with Cyclops' tactical options. Let Scott lead the X-Men to victory.

This deck was designed primarily for two-handed and campaign play, where every hero has a defined battlefield role. It values theme and identity just as much as efficiency.

If you're looking for a Cyclops deck that feels like commanding the X-Men instead of simply playing Leadership, give this one a try.
