Clint Barton (Hawkeye) is the founder and first chairman of the West Coast Avengers, established in 1984 to protect the Los Angeles area. Appointed by Vision, Hawkeye led the team alongside his wife, Mockingbird (Bobbi Morse), building an original roster that included Wonder Man and Iron Man (Rhodey). They are later joined by Hank Pym, Moon Knight, and U.S. Agent.
