The Gang Avenges the Great Web

Avenge Me is one of the most blatantly broken cards I think we’ve seen spoiled in a long time, especially in an aspect which has been notorious for being just a little too flexible and a little too powerful since the beginning of the game. After messing around with it in Wonder-Man and confirming my suspicions that it was, indeed, absolutely goofy strong - I had the amazing (pun intended) realization that Spider-Man is Avenger traited and can run Avenge Me alongside Web of Life and Destiny.

This deck is overall the same old Web-Warrior/Genius synergy deck that Web-Warrior Fanatic has popularized, with the added inclusion of Avenge Me (a card which is effectively a Pot of Greed that can be tutored off of Suit Up), to push it into truly unethical territory. Once Web of Life and Destiny is set up, I was routinely drawing through my whole deck in 2-3 rounds, and at that point setting up a Ghost Spider loop to kill the villain becomes pretty much trivial.

I took this deck through the Expert Campaign of Sinister Motives and it was an absolute terror, never once coming close to losing. This deck idea could likely be optimized even further, as we are at 43 cards with some dinky 1-ofs that look a little ugly, but even in this state I would feel comfortable putting the deck up against the toughest challenges that Champions has to offer.
