It took me 8 games to craft this beauty, and 3 victories back to back to make sure it wasn't just pure luck.

This isn't the fastest Hercules deck out there, but it beats Ronan Expert.

Pour yourself some ambrosia, and read on.

A high-tempo Aggression build focused on finishing the Labors while keeping the scenario on a leash.

Starting the Game

Mulligan priorities: Limitless Stamina, Face the Past, Prince of Power, Combat Training, Toe to Toe.

  • If the scenario pressures you with minions, Spoiling for a Fight and Bring It! will help you
  • If threat is the problem, You'll Pay for That! and Keep Them Busy will carry you.

Reveal your Labor, and go.

Labor: Defeat the Hydra

Draw the Hydra? Slam 8+ damage into it on turn one. If you kept Bring It! and Spoiling for a Fight, cycle your deck to find them. The goal is simple: kill the Hydra by the start of turn two. A single Savage Strike will close the deal, no questions asked.

Labor: Protect Humanity

Toe to Toe and allies are your bread and butter here. Toe to Toe alone can save you a full turn. Protect Cho at all costs. Throw other allies in the way if you have to. Try to plan your flip back to Alter-Ego on the turn you finish this Labor, especially if you still have Labors left.

Labor: Embrace the Pathos

This one usually takes 1 to 2 turns. You'll Pay for That! is generally better spent on the main scheme, but you do you. Since you can finish this Labor during the villain phase, watch out for assault-type effects (Juggernaut comes to mind) that could cost you Cho out of nowhere.

Cards

  • Olympus: Cool, but not essential. Don't chase it.
  • Amadeus Cho: His Labor pays for him, and this deck runs cheap. He can wait.
  • Allies & Lion of Olympus: Absolute stars for thwarting. Play them as needed.
  • Combat Training: A banger here.
  • Quincarrier: useful to pay for specific villain attachment requirements, it can be played when there is a downtime during protect humanity.
  • Spoiling for a fight: it may feel risky, you will one shot most minions. They are effectively delicious peanuts who will start healing you when you have Prince of Power in play.
  • Bring it: Hercules is always engaged with some minion from a prior Spoiling for a fight, face the past or the Hydra. This is effectively a deck thinner, and even sometimes an economic solution. It allows your deck to rotate faster and hit your solutions faster.
