Im a bit late to the Gamora party but here is my personal take on this femme fatale.
The concept of the deck is easy - play cards that either stun or confuse the enemy, preferably the villain to secure easy wins. Tested against Tower Defense and Ebony Maw so far and won handily even on expert difficulty.
---------- PROS AND CONS ----------
Pros:
- Fun playstyle that is low to the ground and doesnt require a lot of setup
- Lots of redundancy and consistency so non-games where you get stomped are rare
- puzzle like experience that allows you to be creative in crafting solutions to situations
Cons:
- HARD COUNTERED by STALWART and Steady to a lesser extent, DO NOT PLAY AGAINST VILLAINS with STALWART
- very linear playstyle that is 90% events based. Not for you if you like allies
---------- CARD CHOICES ----------
-
Drop Kick -- deals 4 damage and draws a card. Whats not to like? There are tons of fist resources here + Keen Instincts to make sure that you dont have much issues with this
-
Tackle - easier to play than Drop Kick. Nothing flashy but deals a solid 3 damage + triggers your thwart passive
-
Concussive Blow - Confuses and deals 3 damage + you guessed it, 1 thwart via your passive
-
Prof X and Mockingbird - extra confuse and stun that can absorb a hit as well
-
Think Fast - easy to play event that lets you flip to AE safely so that you can use your AE action and your Conditioning Room
-
One Way or Another - draw 3 cards is never bad and with your passive and Multitasking, its barely an inconvenience. You can even net even more profit with Skilled Investigator
---------- MULLIGANS ----------
Top priority is to get a copy of Keen Instincts early game. Stuns are your priority, luckily there are 7 cards that you can find to get you started. Usually one stun leads to another or to a confuse that chains ad infinitum.
---------- FINAL THOUGHTS ----------
You can substitute your favorite cards since Gamora has an amazing passive that gives her a lot of flexibility. I find that resource generators are not needed since her cards are very cheap. Allies are nice but events are what she wants to build into. Overall, a very strong hero but can be boring to play with since she naturally leans into a specific card type to maximize her potential.
Upside the Head might be suitable in the deck as well
