A Synthezoid and his Dog

Sparky from Tom King’s The Vision comic series is translated into Marvel Champions using the Lockjaw ally.

This deck is designed around shenanigans with discarding and recurring everyone's favorite canine ally (sorry, Cosmo). The bonus with Lockjaw is that he easily returns to play directly from discard. Leadership has some strong events to trigger additional benefits from discarding an ally. His high cost of 4 is actually a benefit. Go Down Swinging deals 4 damage. Save the Day removes 4 threat from any scheme. Noble Sacrifice heals Vision 4 hit points. Last Stand boosts Lockjaw’s ATK to 5 before he’s discarded.

Two copies of The Power in All of Us are included with the basic resource cards to help get Lockjaw in to play. Quincarrier and Clarity of Purpose join Solar Gem as resource generators, too. Finally, Avenger’s Mansion increases card draw to being the Leadership events more readily to hand.
