Put this deck together for multiplayer with someone who was playing a leadership Avenger hero (hence Honorary X-Men).
Did really well and beat Ronan and Magneto in standard difficulty.
Phoenix is great at thwarting in restrained form, and great at attacking in unleashed form so lets you be flexible with what the group needs.
Use Team-Building Exercise to make your psionic cards cheaper, stay restrained until you’re ready and then go all revenge in unleashed form. Bonus points if you use Rise from the Ashes to turn unleashed after the obligation has passed.
