Elrond + Vilya is a superpowered combo. If you squint your eyes and turn your head just so you can sort of see Maria + Circe is the Marvel Champions equivalent. Both combinations allow you to dump huge allies into play and enjoy the ensuing shenanigans.
A starting hand wants to see at least 1 Double resource card (Power of Leadership is fine). Exhaust Maria to grab Circe (if you've already got it, grab a Field Agent or Command Team to spend as a resource). Then get an Organisation Front in play to protect your investment and start throwing huge allies into play and watch the fireworks.

P.S. No Pericles so you're not tempted. Yes the deck would be better with it, but no I don't want (or need) it.
