this is a cool dr strange deck. it's fun to see these cards that i usually don't think about, but they are so good with him like Hard Knocks and Muster Courage

@marktry The card pool at this point is every up to the War Machine hero pack!

@andyr I love Strange in protection because, especially in multiplayer, he can really lean into that supportive role. Med teams, night nurses, seven rings/muster courage for toughs. Works really well. I love Hard Knocks for solo because he can be a bit damage light, so this can help clear some minions along with bumping his survivability!

Looking good! It's fun looking through the cards you choose and what would have been available at the time. For example cards like What Doesn't Kill Me weren't available until SinMo!

@SDx Exactly the point of the series! Trying to make the most of the card pool at that time.

Series is fun, last "major" hurdle is still to come...

what did you use to kill Ronan using those parameters? there were so few cards at the time.

@marktry Since I limit myself to the "wave/cycle" for the sake of making thematic matchups, it was a Star-Lord leadership deck focusing on rushing him down after stabilizing slightly. You can see that here: youtu.be

If I was going TRULY off of what was released, it probably would've been Captain America / Captain Marvel in a similar leadership pile. Ronan was absolutely no joke at that point in the game.

How about a Rewind of using only Groot cards at the time against Ronan. It will bring back bad memories. (I was able to even beat Nebula and others in the campaign with Groot and Rocket at the time). And then I would try a million times against Groot.

@marktry I feel like that's hardly possibly on Standard let alone Expert. If I was a major challenge seeker maybe I'd try it, but I'd probably have to start enjoying Ronan first...
