This deck works well against most villains on standard mode. The justice events are not ideal for most decks. I tried to use justice yet still lean on Hulk's need for Physical resources.
Beat Cop is one of the most important cards in this deck. the constant 1 (xhow many copies) thwart per round is invaluable. I rarely discard it for damage unless I have a minion with extremely high scheme in play.
Disguise ever seen Thing in a trenchcoat? imagine an angry green monster in a trenchcoat. This allows you to exhaust Hulk to thwart for 2 instead of his base of 0
Allies they are mostly unnecessary. The thwart power is what should always be used. I sat staring at the cards for hours, strangely these 2 OG allies are the best.
Resources play all resource supports immediately. those are perfect for when you draw 2 1 cost cards.
Current Playthrough Results
Sinister Six + Standard II - Victory
Crossbones + Standard + Reavers - Victory
Rhino + Standard + Crazy Gang - Victory
43 cards is mainly just to offset the amount of useless hulk hero cards and because I can't take out any aspect/basic cards to make this work (for those who enjoy having 40 card decks, remove making an entrance) I may update this deck with future cards after they get released. Any feedback is welcome,

Jan 17, 2025Great Idea and great use of Running Interference! If you are looking to get back down to 40 cards, I think Making an Entrance is a good cut. It's anti-synergistic with Disguise. |
Jan 17, 2025Hulk Justice, that's awesome! With such a big cardpool now, there are tons of options to bring this OG Avenger back onto the field. I'm not a huge fan of Making an Entrance with him, even though it is a Physical resource, so I might swap this out for 3x copies of Overwatch. Being able to Running Interference the main scheme and Triggering Overwatch to as side scheme is pretty solid efficiency. It also makes Sub-Orbital Leap a bit more solid, though mainly through the lens of multiplayer. |
Jan 17, 2025You are probably correct about Making an Entrance, That was part of the first iteration of the deck before I decided to use Running Interference. And I just kept it in there since I hadn't found a reason to remove it. |
Jan 17, 2025Bring on the Hulk Justice. Disguise is such a great hulk card since getting to use it on flip down and before flip up will cover the scheme in-between, you can have useful alter-ego turns. Can't wait to try this one out. |
Jan 17, 2025Increasing the deck size above 40 specifically to dilute his bad hero cards is a really interesting concept I haven't thought of before. Building around AE is also interesting. This deck has some really good ideas. |
Jan 17, 2025Why use "to the rescue" over cards like "multitasking"? which is simply better IMHO |
Jan 17, 2025Multitasking wants me to spend Mental. No reliable way to get those in hero form unless I built the deck with more Mental resources. |
Jan 17, 2025Even if you don't spend Mental , you still get the 2 thwart for 1 energy VS the 2 for 2 in the case of "To The Rescue" |
Jan 17, 2025Trust me, I feel bad about including"To the Rescue" in this deck. even though I should remove it "multitasking" is more comparable to "making an entrance" 2 THW for 2 cards and a possible conditional effect. You could include multitasking instead of to the rescue but I don't like including cards I can't get the full effect of. And once the deck is built you can regularly play To the Rescue or Running Interference for free using the supports, |
This is a very clever idea for a deck! Well thought through. Love it
