Magneto keeps minions locked down with Wrapped in Metal and Pinned Down. Then, he can pick them off at his leisure with Metal Shards and Hard Knocks to give himself a Tough status card.
Serve and Protect will give Warpath and Honorary X-Men Daredevil Tough Statuses. Warpath can block to allow Magneto to blast a locked-down minion in the villain phase for some Change of Fortune draw. Or maybe pre-emptively get more threat off of the main scheme with Ever Vigilant, or Stun the villain before it attacks another player. Meanwhile, Daredevil activates between Toughs and uses the opportunity to remove damage from himself.
If no Villain Phase shenanigans took place, then you can always activate with a boost from Synch and Soaring Acrobatics, use Magneto's Armor and Cape to ready with a stat boost, activate again, use Ever Vigilant, and activate a third time with the same stat boost. Lots of physical and mental resources to maximize Thwart or Attack potential!
