Quicksilver Ultron Leadership Challenge

First time beating Ultron, so that felt deserved. Man, Quicksilver is so fast. Perhaps a bit too fast. I almost got caught up in dealing damage and just didn’t deal with threat. But then I had a turn where I thwarted for 8, at least. Moxie, Lead from the Front, and Avengers Assemble! have super cool interactions with Quicksilver. Turns out, getting double value from your boost cards is good. Who’d have known. I put Morale Boost in the deck, but I didn’t play it, so I can’t really comment on it. I built the deck as an Avengers Ally deck, but I only ever had one out at a time. Hawkeye was perfect for dealing with the Ultron Drones. Goliath was sick. He hits for huge damage. I also wanted to do a whole “throw away allies and then play them later,” but that didn’t end up working. I also didn’t play Helicarrier, Avengers’ Mansion, or Nick Fury at all. There were just better things to be doing. I really love the character, and this was a fun game. No side schemes made it much better. I also built a 50 card deck to try and counter Ultron. I figured a turn or two more is worth it.
