Wanna kill some stuff? X-23 is out, which means Boom-Boom is out, which means 3/5 members of Nextwave are cards in Champions now. And whilst maaaaaybe we get an Elsa Bloodstone card somewhere down the line, I am confident we're never seeing Captain ☠️☠️☠️☠️ in this game. So very much in the spirit of Nextwave, I'm going off half-cocked.
The plan, as much as there is one, is to hit things. Really hard. Ideally causing some sort of explosion. Monica gets easy access to Dive Bomb and Bombs Away and those cards have big numbers on them. Also both have Bomb in the name. Pitchback and Fluid Motion both increase damage when you've attacked something and we're definitely going to be attacking something.
Surprise Attack is easy to trigger with Monica, as flipping energy forms counts. Assault Training lets us do it more often and Martial Prowess lets us do it for more damage.
Combat Training and "Now I'm Mad" both pump Monica's ATK, which is nice, especially with Gamma and also possible Fluid Motion buffs. And swinging in for a big attack could then trigger Pitchback. BOOM!
