When Great Responsibility and Not My Responsibility meet!

This deck focuses on toning down Deadpool's toxicity through Uncle Ben's influence and being able to reliably survive and build.

After much deck-testing with the 'Pool Aspect, we're trying Deadpool with protection to further increase his consistency and survivability while losing access to the 'Pool resource cards and having less high peaks.

The goal of this deck is to pass through the deck once, then set up a big burst turn to finish the villain’s third stage in 1 turn. Protection will help us control the board and survive without triggering the Regeneratin' Degenerate.

Early Game - First Deck Pass

Don’t fall in the trap of using the Regeneratin’ Degenerate every chance you get! Use it as a last resort as you’re getting set up. We want to play this 5 card core build in this priority:

Avenger’s Mansion

Chimichanga Truck

Web of Life and Destiny

Deadpool’s Katana

Endurance

Control the board by managing threat, building up, and slowly chipping away at the villain's HP when you can. Because Deadpool is leveraging his HP for damage/thwarting with Maximum Effort and "Yoo-Hoo!", the 2 HP recovery from What Doesn't Kill Me has amazing synergy. For extra value, this deck has 18 physical/wild resources so paying for What Doesn't Kill Me will always be easy.

End Game - Second Deck Pass

This is where we try to get key cards for massive damage. We are looking to end the game when the Symbiote Suit is drawn. Here is our ideal setup: Peter Parker ally with 1 remaining HP, Ghost-Spider ally with 2 remaining HP, and Deadpool at full HP. Ghost-Spider can attack for 2 damage, then Peter attacks for 2 and readies Ghost-Spider to attack again. Ghost-Spider tutors Maximum Effort to your hand. Both allies get discarded from consequential damage so you can draw 2 cards with the Web of Life and Destiny (these draws will be resources to pay for the Symbiote Suit). Then we use Maximum Effort for 9 damage and trigger Regeneratin’ Degenerate to flip to AE. While in AE, we want to make a basic recovery to go back up to 9 HP and Break the Fourth Wall to tutor the other Maximum Effort. Flip back to Hero form, play the Symbiote Suit and the second Maximum Effort to hit for 19! That’s 34 damage not counting for Deadpool’s Katanas or any other readies/allies. This is fairly reliable to setup because the only variable is drawing Symbiote Suit. We can Across the Spider-Verse to get Ghost-Spider, have 2 ways to get Maximum Effort, and have accounted for plenty of resources to pay for the Symbiote Suit with the extra draws (this final push is the exact same as the Resource 'Pool deck, but more reliable now with protection cards).

Still in Construction

This deck was able to defeat expert Magneto but I only had a chance to test it once. I went ahead and posted this anyways because it's extremely similar to how I played with the 'Pool aspect, just with an improvement in consistency (while taking a hit in peak damage). I will be testing this deck more against other villains and will update here accordingly. In the meantime, if you want to play Deadpool in protection or with the Web-Warriors, take this deck for a spin!

Hi dude, first of all let me say I love your vids, you are really good, and I love your decks, they seem just very direct and with a purpose. I am writing this to ask, regarding deadpool, is this the deck you recomend over the pool aspect one? thanks
