I like to pair Valkyrie with Cyclops INSTEAD of Rogue. The reason why is because Rogue’s “Touched” upgrade has to be removed off the villain/minion at the beginning of the Player Phase. This can cause major issues if you are playing as Cyclops because it means he can’t just auto-kill something with this Optic Blast if he happened to take a turn before Rogue. By using Deathglow on the villain as Valkyrie and simply leaving it there, you always have Cyclop’s Optic Blast ready to inflict major pain on the villain. It may not seem like much but turn after turn if using Optic Blast for free(once Cyclops gets his Ruby Visor in play) is very effective.

If using Rogue, you could just call for an action on her turn for Cyclops to perform his Optic Blast. He can save it until her turn.
