His optic blast ability only triggers on enemies that have an upgrade attached, which is very situational and a challenge to pull off. Enter Death-glow. Valkyrie will always be able to apply it to the biggest threat on the board and this ensures that Cyclop’s optic blast is always able to ping for 3 damage turn after turn at the cost of 1 resource and then 0 once he gets his Ruby Visor upgrade.
