For events, you have a lot of 1x cards. In general, you want some consistency. Try playing a few games and see which cards you are often happy to see, and which ones you always discard for resources.
For allies, you could add a few more if you have them. They will often end up either killing themselves with consequence damage or blocking for you. The Venom ally is very dangerous to include, but see how you feel, I guess.
