Your goal is to eventually have a million upgrades on the table and play your whole turn during the villain phase so that they don't get to play.
Hard to ignore passively controls threat while the various armors reduce damage to you and reflect it back. Then you just jump in front and continuously block for everyone using Lashing Vines and Desperate Defense to re-ready, or Never Back Down for stuns. Defensive training lets you recycle these cards back into the deck too. I suggest using side step mostly for indirect damage so that you don't have to use Growth counters on it, but the timing isn't always under your control.
Helicarrier and Mansion are for help with setup when necessary, and afterwards to be donated to teammates. Night Nurse is to Cleanse allies.
