This Groot deck is all about the D.....fence. Focus on blocking the villain attacks while building up your Groot counters to max (10). Once at full growth, deal massive damage and keep the thwart off the board with the "I am Groot" event cards.

You only have 1 2-cost Protection card (@Starhawk), so maybe drop 2x The Power of Protection for 1x Unflappable and 1x Nerves of Steel?
