Guns Over Brawn

Running Interference is a proxy for Brains Over Brawn from the upcoming Nebula pack.

Rocket Raccoon is one strange hero. His signature pool and hero ability point toward a minion slaying aggression deck with Relentless Assault, Into the Fray, Follow Through, and Hall of Heroes. But he also has ridiculous thwart potential and a love for the tech that Leadership and Protection provide.

Even with Thruster Boots and I've Got a Plan, I haven't been able to find any strong connections to Justice outside of Heroic Intuition. Stealth Strike works well with him, but nowhere near as well as Relentless Assault and Into the Fray.

Then I saw the spoiled card from Nebula's pack: Brains Over Brawn. It's a 2-cost event that deals damage equal to your THW after thwarting. I usually don't like using future cards, but this was perfect for Rocket. Rocket can the highest THW in the game with Thruster Boots and Heroic Intuition. Add in Civic Duty (first Adrenaline Rush with Drax and now this) and I've Got a Plan and you can have some monster turns!

The rest of this deck is pretty straightforward. Stealth Strike and Followed both work with Murdered You!, and Interrogation Room rewards minion-slaying even more. Multitasking, Clear the Area, Skilled Investigator, and Under Surveillance are Justice staples. Endurance, Groot, and Ironheart improve survivability, and Gamora is perfect here with 16 events to pull.

Hopefully you can pull off some monster turns with I've Got a Plan and Civic Duty for some huge Brains Over Brawn plays compounded with Followed and Skilled Investigator (and of course Rocket's guns).
